digital manifesto

Who are we in web? Who can be a digital girl?

I base my views on my own experiences as a digital girl in the Web. I also include others stories. We are all digital

digital memories

I believe that what we do digitally its a reflection of how we are irl. My first interaction with the web were layed as a promise for my future identity. There is always so little space for any female perspectives within online spheres that this manifesto is dedicated towards similar experiences of growing up on a "girly" internet. Everything that was cater towards us was pink, glittery, girly, makeup games, dress up games, cooking and cleaning simulators... Everything was conditioning us to fulfill our overall goal of being a perfect woman in society. And if you liked any of the listed as a non-woman, that was bad, that was wrong, that was a glitch. There was always male and female side to the internet - you better allign yourself correctly otherwise there is no space for you. And so I fell down this rabbithole consumed by this aesthetic and these games and this community. But there was alwyas something dark and uncanny lingering in the corner of my vision that something was not right. That this distinction was not right that my identity was never fully one or the other. Below you can dive deeper into my digital memeories and their own universe.
